The Difficulties Faced by Jordanian University Students in Passing the Listening Section of the TOFEL Test

This study aims to determine the most important difficulties that face graduate students while doing listening section of (iBT) TOEFL test. A sample 214 was selected from eight Jordanian universities during summer semester in academic year 2021- 2022. All participants studied English as a foreign language for more than fifteen years. The findings revealed lacking practice skill real-life events, concentration,disability improving skills classes, misunderstandingm different topics and long dialogues, questions, misunderstanding complex structure figurative expressions some sentences, disability comprehending unfamiliar words dialogues were faced TOFEL
